As a local writer/producer, Jena has written for stage, sketch, film, stand up, spoken word, and storytelling for over 15 years. In 1998, she was selected for the Augsburg College Invitational Reading, and she's been published in several slamm collections. Generally she prefers to write poetry in free form, but has been known to enjoy the challenges of structured form now and again.
Jena and her husband Bill run the comedy productions of YoungNotions.com, publishing humorous writing daily on the website and producing local sketch and comedy. She is also the marketing director for Fearless Comedy Productions.

Sibling Rivalry is a blog where siblings Jena and Steve are given weekly challenges to write poetry based on reader emails and Facebook comments. The duo will craft poems which will be displayed every Wednesday to be voted on, and the victor will be given bragging rights for the week... because that's what siblings do.

Steve Has been writing for over ten years. In 2001, he was selected for the Augsburg College Invitational Reading, and has been published in a poetry compilation book. Always looking for a challenge, he has explored many different poetry forms including villanelles, quaterns, and sestinas.
